NEW- District Crutches/ wheelchair/ cast Policy

The District has implemented a new policy needing permission for your student to return to School with a cast, crutches, wheelchair or other assisted device. a form is to be completed and signed by parents and your child's physician prior to readmitting your student to school following an illness or injury in which a medical device is part of the rehabilitation process. Forms can be picked up in the School office.

DR. appointment notes needed

Now that school has started, we know that it is sometimes impossible to get a Dr. appointment  after school. It is school policy, that if students arrive late from an appointment that they have a Doctor’s note in order to clear the tardy or absence. Most offices will offer a note so your child can be excused from arriving to school late.

Help keep our Parking lot safe

Avoid parking in the red zone- This area is reserved for buses. It is illegal to park in a red zone.

Stay in your car while parked in the green loading zone- It is illegal to leave a car unattended in the loading zone.

Use the crosswalk- Teach your student how to crosswalk, this is an important life skill.

We understand that parking is limited and it is difficult to have close access to the school entrance. Please teach your child safe practices. Here are some suggestions:

-Park down the street and walk to pick your student up.

- Teach your child to use the crosswalk

-Pick your child up 5 minutes after dismissal, so you help to stagger the traffic.

Visitor & Volunteers

If you are coming onto school grounds during school hours, it is a district policy that all visitors and volunteers must come to the office to sign in and receive a badge.  This helps us know everyone who is on campus so we can keep kids and staff safe and secure. Thank you for your understanding.

This form will stay in the office with the medication and the Nurse or Office Staff will help dispense medication. None of the above mentioned items are allowed at school or in your child's backpack without Doctor consent. Forms can be picked up in the school office.

A message from PE teacher Mr. Rudnick

Please remind your children to bring appropriate shoes on PE days!  Safe, comfortable running type shoes are a must!!!

JM Kid's Clothes Closet

Do you have clothes your child has out grown and are ready to donate a few of them? Julia Morgan Kid's Closet  is in need of gently used clothing. Primary grades often have accidents and it is helpful to have a change of loose fitting sweatpants, hoodies, jeans, or shorts (boys and girls sizes 4-12)  just in case. For more information or questions, please contact the School Office.

Counseling Services

Do you have any concerns for your child that could be holding them back academically? Our School Counselor, Mona Amador is available here on campus every Monday from 8:00-3:00 and rotating Wednesday,(please call the office to check that schedule). If you would like to have your child see her, there is a form you can fill out in the school office or email her at
